Barcelona progressed to the Euroleague semi-finals for the first time since 2006 after a 78-62 win over Tau Ceramica at Palau Blaugrana. Barcelona took a 3-2 quarter final victory in the play-off series in front of a sell-out crowd. Jaka Lakovic also added 16 points in the decisive game of the best-of-five play-off series. Barcelona will now face defending champions CSKA Moscow in the semi-finals.

Everton Tigers, Guildford Heat and Cheshire Jets all recorded wins on Sunday as the battle for play-off places hots up. The Heat strengthened their grip on a top-four place with a 100-76 win over the Worcester Wolves. Jets recorded a pivotal 82-68 road success over the Airwaves Plymouth Raiders while the Tigers recorded their first Success of the season against the Newcastle Eagles 101-80 in the battle of the top two. The victory came too late for the Tigers as the Eagles secured the BBL Championship crown on Friday. The Airwaves Plymouth Raiders beat Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders 96-67 to maintain hopes of a top-four finish in the British Basketball League. Drew Lasker top scored for the Raiders with 22 points, while Gerald Robinson amassed 17 in a stunning six-minute burst. The Marshall MK Lions also defeated Scottish Rocks 87-99.
